I hope this message finds you well and that each day as you practice that you continue to do what you love to do. There has never been a better time to be a Doctor of Chiropractic. We are, and have been, at the forefront of a changing paradigm in health care. A transition from symptom based care to overall health and wellness care is the dominant trend.
If you want to make the State of Connecticut a better place to practice, you have the power to be the difference. Every member of the Council is entitled to be a part of the movement that is influencing legislation, insurance, public relations, students, continuing education, and philosophy.
Yet often during times of transition the vision is blurred and the mission gets lost. That's why it is important for you to be active with your local Chiropractic Council. We need your voice and your passion for chiropractic to be heard within your community.
We are here to advance chiropractic by helping you and your practice grow by bringing the wellness paradigm to the masses. Over the past 12 months, we fought hard to insure that chiropractic be included in the Essential Health Benefit on the CT Insurance Exchange, which means that chiropractic will be included as a mandatory benefit in ALL plans offered in CT. This represents just a few of our most recent accomplishments.
The Council is here for you more than ever because with strength in numbers, this allows for a unified movement with effective change. With you and your friends' alignment with the Council, our collective voice for change will be heard. Invite your friends to join too.
Thank you so much for all that you do and will continue to do for chiropractic.
• Membership is a way to help support the profession that we love, your profession.
• We need your support and you need a strong organization to represent you and your patients.
• History will show we must stand together to preserve the chiropractic principle.
